State Fair

We made it to the

Great Get-Together this year!

We went on Friday, August 27th.
It was a record breaking attendance day.
Just our luck!
But the weather was beautiful
and we had a nice time.
We...

...rode on the ferris wheel!


...ate Sweet Martha's cookies!

...went up to the top of the Space Tower!

...saw a few baby animals
in the Miracle of Birth barn!

...enjoyed some cool treats
like a chocolate shake from the Dairy Building!

...and a grape snow cone!

...enjoyed some buttery popcorn!

...with some root beer!

...and even posed for some group shots.

It was a fun afternoon.

We got there about 2:00 pm
after about 45 minutes of trying to park.
We didn't see much.
Just walked around a lot.
It was hard to see when in the buildings
with the girls and the stroller.
But, all in all, a good time was had by all.

Maybe we'll see you again next year, State Fair!
