The first annual Pettis Campout at the Farm.
It was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy the fresh air.
We celebrated Uncle PeeWee's good news of tumor shrinkage/stability

The birthday cake from the caf.
It was great!
And thanks to Koby, we had enough candles for all 5 girls.
(and jumping, and jumping, and jumping, and jumping)
in the bounce house we rented for the weekend!
Watched Skylar carry/ride the toy tractor
in and out of the porch about a million times!
Cousin Aiden had a blast transferring ice cubes
from the bucket to the coolers....
(over, and over, and over, and over again!)
To end the evening, we watched a movie at dusk.
Toy Story was a hit!
Matt and a few others set up a big sheet on the driveway,
we borrowed a projector,
and it worked great!
The next morning,
Grandpa fried bacon out at the campfire.
We also enjoyed scrambled eggs (made in the house!),
and rolls and breads.
What a fun weekend!
I can't believe I didn't take a picture of the line-up of tents!
There were about 6 tents and one camper down behind the house.
Mitch, the girls, and I stayed in a camper up by the garage.
It was a little chilly. I think it got down to below 50 degrees.
We were fine in the camper. But the tenters had it a little cold!
And the Thorson's from Iowa suprised everyone
and drove up for the party.
Good times. Good family. Good friends. Good food!
Hoping that we can do it all again next Labor Day weekend!
