Merry Christmas from the Meyers!
We have had a wonderful Christmas Eve, being together as a family of 5. This was the second Christmas ever that I haven't been with either my family or Mitch's on Christmas Eve. The first time was when we lived in Alabama - we came home with Paige on Christmas Eve day. Today was just a total chillaxin type of day. We ALL slept in. Paige (& Claire) made me breakfast in bed (it was in a coupon book she brought home as a gift from school). Other items in the coupon book are 'setting the table' & 'shoveling the sidewalk for a week'. So cute. After lunch and a Sophie nap, we took the girls to see Alvin & the Chipmunks the Squeaquel here in town. We ate a requested Christmas Eve dinner of Chicken hotdish. :) After a few presents, the girls are fast asleep, waiting to see what Santa brings them tomorrow!
We hope everyone is safe and warm this holiday. Christmas Day we are off to Mitch's mom's for the day. I wonder how much snow we'll have in the morning!
