Swim Lessons 2012

All three girls just finished their swim lessons for the summer!

And all 3 passed!

Paige successfully completed Level IV.

I was a little worried, but she did really well with all her strokes.

She had to do the front crawl, elementary backstroke, back crawl, 

sidestroke, and breaststroke. 

And she also had to do a feet first surface dive!

Claire completed Level 2.

She did lots of different kinds of floats 

and learned safety topics.

She was so excited on the last few days 

she learned how to tread water!

 And Sophie completed Dolphins!

She moves on to Whales next summer.

(She said she hoped it wasn't Sharks, because they are scary - but

that's after she passes Whales!)

Sophie did really well too!

She had no fear with holding her breath under water,

or jumping in and floating to the top by herself!

The biggest thing they were working on was hand/leg coordination in the water.

After lessons on Thursday,

we packed a picnic dinner and 

our cousins all met us at the pool for Open Swim. 

Joe, Brooke, Ryenne, Maya, Grace, Amelia, and Liam!

What a fun night!

We ended with treats at the DQ.

No pics, but fun memories!

Grace & Joe went off the high board!

All the rest went off the low boards.

Even Sophie went off (with her life jacket) about 25 times!!!
