Paige is 9!

Paige turned 9 on December 21st!

The big day also coincided with the first day of Christmas vacation!
So, we started off with Paige's favorite for breakfast -
BACON!
(with a side of chocolate chip pancakes).

Since there was no school,
and all the college kids were gone,
we invited 4 girlfriends (+ a friend of Claire's) over
for lunch and the afternoon.

We planned to go sledding down the big hill behind our apartment -
but there was no snow!

So, we hung out in the big lounge instead.
The girls had pizza for lunch.
We gave the girls their Christmas present early -
an Xbox 360 Kinect!
So the girls had fun playing that.

Cupcakes followed...

And then lots of playing around!

After all the girls left,
we gave Paige her present from us.
A new bike!
She is growing so fast.
I hope this one she can ride this summer!

Grandpa and Grandma Pettis came and took us all out for dinner.
Then we came back and got them playing on the Xbox a little!

It was a fun and exhausting day.
All 3 girls were super tired that night.
